I get a lot of questions about how I operate so I've collated the main ones below for you to browse through. If there's something not covered just send me a message and I'll get back to you!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

For local clients using Resellr Direct please contact me to arrange a mutually convenient appointment for you to drop your items off.  I will go through everything, itemise what I take & provide you with a receipt. During this time you can let me know if you have any minimum price or other selling requirements on any particular items.  I then stylishly photograph and list all the items on eBay in the format I think most appropriate.  You will have my eBay username so that you can monitor your items at all times. During the period that the items are for sale, I deal with all questions from prospective buyers and the whole selling process. Once sold, I will securely pack and arrange shipping. There is nothing you need to do except provide your bank details!

WHAT IF I'M NOT LOCAL?

Use my Resellr Remote service. Please see the Services page for full details. Please also read the FAQ below regarding unsold items.

WHAT ABOUT LARGE ITEMS?

Any large household/furniture items will be collection only from you by the buyer.  You will need to send me a selection of good quality images along with dimensions and full details.  Once sold, the buyer will collect directly from your property at a mutually convenient time. I will only give out collection details once I have received payment for the items.

WHAT HAPPENS TO ITEMS THAT DON'T SELL?

Any unsold items will be relisted if I think they have had enough watchers and have a chance of selling. I closely monitor the items & often reduce them to generate sales based on the amount of interest. However some items may still remain unsold.

With Resellr Direct, you are welcome to pick up any unsold items from me. Anything not collected within 10 days of notice will be passed to charity.

With Resellr Remote, you have 2 options regarding unsold items. Either a 99p start auction - the item will most likely sell but may sell at 99p. Or I pass to charity.

WHAT IF AN ITEM IS LOST OR DAMAGED IN THE POST?

If it is an item covered by postage insurance, you won't be affected as I will deal with any compensation claim and you will still receive the sale price less the regular fees. Exceptions to this are items not covered by postage insurance such as china or glass. If these are broken in transit, we lose the money as I need to refund the buyer and no compensation is available.

WHEN AND HOW DO I RECEIVE PAYMENT?

Once all the listings have ended or after a maximum of 4 weeks of being live, I will send you an itemised sales sheet. Proceeds are paid directly into your bank account approximately 10 working days after the last item has been dispatched. This allows a window for any returns. Please allow approx 30 days from when I receive your items to any first payment being made. With very expensive items the process may take a little longer whilst we wait for the best price.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

Sales on the various platforms are binding. If the item has already sold or has bids on, I will not end the listing as this results in negative feedback on my accounts. So please be sure you really want to sell that Prada dress before handing it over to me! Any withdrawal of an item of a live listing that does not have a bid on will be subject to a £20 withdrawal fee. Please also ensure that if you require a minimum selling price on any item, make sure to inform me at the start!

HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY YOUR FEES?

I have been reselling for over 20 years with many followers and repeat buyers across all the platforms that I sell on and I know what platforms to use to target the appropriate buyers. My fees are reflective of the lengthy time involved in appraising, photographing and listing individual items as well as the time taken up by administration, handling queries from buyers, and managing all the logistics. I also list your items potentially on several platforms which is a time consuming process. I am a trusted business seller on the sites I use so selling with Resellr means more exposure and higher sales prices.

WHAT ABOUT ELECTRICAL GOODS & TECH?

Please ensure that any electrical equipment or technology items are fully working as I will not accept responsibility for items that are faulty unless of course they are to be sold as ‘not working’ or ‘for parts’.  If a buyer claims an item is faulty, they will be fully refunded and I will not ask them to return the item. Postage will also be deducted from the sales sheet.

WHAT ABOUT COMPLAINTS & RETURNS?

I handle all returns & complaints and this will not affect you. If an item is found to be defective and not resaleable, there are occasions when I will refund the buyer without a need to return. Otherwise the cost of refunding postage both ways puts us into the negative. This is decided at my discretion.

WHAT ABOUT COUNTERFEIT ITEMS?

It is illegal to sell counterfeit items. Anything found to be fake will be delisted and destroyed. If in doubt, don't give it to me.
